International Business Association Recognizes IPM for Ethical Business Practices

The International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB) has named Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) as a finalist for its 2022 International Torch Awards for Ethics. The awards honor North American companies with best practices in ethical leadership, culture, customer relationships, and community service.

A finalist in the competition, IPM was specifically recognized for “creating a thriving and sustaining value-based culture and providing excellent benefits and services for its workforce.”

IPM President and CEO C. Richard Panico aimed to instill high professional standards when he founded the company. “Our Fundamental Values, which we live by every day, demand excellence, honest and ethical conduct, and uncompromising integrity,” he says. “We’re gratified that our IPM family members embrace those values and that we are recognized for living the values.”

Meant to embody the Better Business Bureau’s mission of advancing trust in the marketplace, the International Torch Awards for Ethics have been presented annually since 1996. IABBB President and CEO Kip Morse said, “We are demonstrating to the business community that adhering to Better Business Bureau ethical standards is the hallmark of successful, competitive companies.”

An independent panel of judges selected five companies to receive the award and named another four companies as finalists, including IPM. To qualify, companies must be financially sound and have a high rating from the Better Business Bureau, among other criteria.

IPM is a past recipient of the American Business Ethics Award from the Foundation for Financial Services Professionals. And Panico was the first recipient of DePaul University’s Institute for Business and Professional Ethics (IBPE) Annual International Award for Corporate Ethics and Excellence.
