Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) has received a 2023 Torch Award for Ethics from the Better Business Bureau (BBB) of Chicago and Northern Illinois. The award recognizes companies that exemplify marketplace trust and excellence.
According to BBB President and CEO Steve Bernas, “Torch Award winners demonstrate extraordinary ethical standards of trust and behavior. These companies represent the highest level of dedication to four key attributes including character, culture, customers, and community.”
IPM Founder, President, and CEO C. Richard Panico expressed gratitude for the award and for the BBB’s commitment to high quality, customer service, and ethical business practices. “Since IPM was founded 35 years ago, we have operated on a foundation of uncompromising values, including honesty and integrity,” he said. “I’m glad to say that when we’ve been tested, our leaders and family members have embraced and lived those values, even when it has cost the business financially. We believe that when we hold fast to our principles, we build trust with our customers and employees. That trust, along with quality, will sustain our company for the long term.”
This is the fourth time IPM has received a Torch Award from the Chicago and Northern Illinois BBB. To be eligible, a company must have an “A-” rating or better, and a winning business won’t be considered for five years. In 2022, The International Association of Better Business Bureaus (IABBB) named IPM as a finalist for its 2022 International Torch Awards for Ethics.
