Integrated Project Management Company, Inc. (IPM) has been named a 2023 Top Workplace in Chicago by the Chicago Tribune. Among the 105 companies ranked in the small company division (those with fewer than 250 employees), IPM placed No. 20.
The Top Workplaces winners are selected based entirely on employee responses to the Workplace Survey by human resources research and consulting firm Energage. The survey measures attributes such as workers’ engagement, commitment, and belief in the company’s direction and values, and whether they are valued, respected, supported, empowered to execute, and enabled to grow. Energage polled almost 108,000 employees in the Chicago area.
“IPM was established 35 years ago on the belief that a values-based culture would enable unparalleled IPM family member engagement, impeccable performance, and sustained growth. IPM’s Fundamental Values, which include respecting and caring for each other and clients, guide our behaviors in all interactions and have been key to consistently delivering high-quality, differentiated results,” says Founder, President and CEO C. Richard Panico. “We are grateful to our IPM family members—our greatest asset—for continuing to embrace and live our values and for sharing their experience in this study.”
The survey asked employees open-ended questions about their employers, and the responses from IPM workers echo Panico’s comments.
The 2023 Top Workplaces in Chicago list was published in the Nov. 8, 2023, edition of the Chicago Tribune and in a special online section. The Energage Top Workplaces website features a profile of each listed company, including IPM. IPM also received the recognition in 2022.
