The Chicago Tribune has named Integrated Project Management Company Inc. (IPM) among its 2024 Top Workplaces in Chicago. Based exclusively on employee surveys, the ranking includes companies that score well on factors such as employee engagement, commitment, and confidence in company leadership.
“This award really goes to our employees, our IPM family,” says IPM President and CEO C. Richard Panico. “We’re grateful that they affirm the company’s values and culture, but it is they who live those values every day, whether they’re working shoulder to shoulder with clients, executing on corporate initiatives, or learning and sharing with each other. I’m extraordinarily proud of the quality of their efforts and the trust they place in us.”
Indeed, trust in leadership and alignment on company direction and values are among the topics on which employees rate their employers. Other factors include feeling respected, supported, and appreciated; empowered to do their best work and reach their potential; and valued fairly regarding pay, benefits, and work-life balance.
Research and workplace consulting firm Energage conducts the national survey on an annual basis. In 2024, Chicago Tribune lists 158 Top Workplace companies in the metropolitan area. More than 6,800 area companies were invited to participate and Energage sent surveys to over 116,000 employees.
IPM ranked 37 on the list of 79 small companies, or those with fewer than 250 employees. This is the third year that IPM has qualified for and received the recognition.
